Summer Internship Program Objectives

The MPSN Summer Internship Program has five main objectives:

1. To enhance the leadership skills of participants while facilitating their professional development through coursework and internships.
2. To educate on public service and civic engagement, with an emphasis on Islamic perspectives.
3. To develop an active and diverse network of community leaders rooted in cooperation, knowledge, ethics, and a commitment to public service.
4. To uphold and promote diversity within the American Muslim community - including ethnic background, gender, socio-economic status, school of thought, and political perspective, among others.
5. To inspire American Muslims to leadership in public service in America.
